Before he can return to Dingewood to seek additional answers from the mage Jotan about the Catstaff, a ghost from the past traps Melkoff in the Coven Combs and takes the Catstaff.
Calmindon travels deep into the Great Forest, fated by the Catstaff to give himself to his former jailers. Unless he sacrifices everything and relives the horror of his previous capture by the Tree Trolls, he will never find Ravenblade.
Jen returns to the Black Hills, hiding from her former masters. In her search for Foxknife, she must confront those who want her dead. The search unfolds, but no matter where she turns, her situation becomes worse.
Hathmal defies the Catstaff’s request to travel with the scheming Crusher, dooming himself to certain capture. Upon his return to his kingdom to search for Jackalharp, the new regime captures Hathmal and sentences him to death. His only hope is the rebel Parker Dunne and his band of fighters.

KEEPER OF THE DEER SERIES
An exciting new series of adventures - the Keeper of The Deer anthology is in development and various stages of completion. The first nine books will be written and released as they are finished. The books are epic fantasy with ancient magic books at the core of the story, along with deceitful devils, chaotic demons, necromancers, the Undead, witches, and warlocks. Our main protagonists are Heather Manawove, Ranger of the Leafy Forest and member of the Stairwell, and Radcliffe von Schule, a master thief of the Leskare, who has too many secrets.
KEEPER OF THE DEER - ORIGINS - BOOK ONE
Radcliffe von Schule is the forgotten youngest child of the family, abused and punished by his Da for being clever, for being a normal boy. He can do nothing right and his siblings can do no wrong. His life changes when he becomes one of the household servants, his status in the family is forever erased. Years pass and his father agrees to hold a mysterious artifact until it can be delivered to the rightful owner. The curious boy touches the horrifying treasure, and his life is forever touched by evil.
Heather Manawove is the daughter of the Great Druid Gideon, head of the Druid Council, and is left behind in the Needle Forest while her father and older brothers investigate a disturbing evil. Later, she is sent into the forest alone to tend to the animals as part of her Druid trials. Her father casts protective spells over her, keeping her safe from animals and the elements. What he couldn't keep her safe from was an animal of a different sort - man.

KEEPER OF THE DEER - CHERISH - BOOK TWO
Ancient evil has stirred in the valley surrounding the quiet community of Cherish. Undead roam by night, destroying all life. The Wilds of Pehrone have become far too dangerous. The Stairwell, guardians of the kingdoms far and wide, send one of their best to investigate this evil.
Heather Manawove, Keeper of the Deer, travels into Pehrone to track down this disturbance and report her findings. She is apprehensive about what she will discover, and she is certain everything is worse than initially thought.
With her goes Radcliffe von Schule, a legendary thief and member of Leskare - sworn enemies of the Stairwell. He is dark and foreboding, dangerous with his blades. His purpose is a mystery, and Heather must discover why a member of their most hated enemy would be sent with her to investigate the Undead.
What secrets will they find in Cherish? There is only one way to find out.
KEEPER OF THE DEER - BY SINISTER MEANS - BOOK THREE
It has been many months since the conclusion of the search for the Librum Fabrica, and Heather finds herself on the road, seeking Radcliffe von Schule's help. Her request is personal, and the only one who will understand is Radcliffe. Her brother has been murdered. Even for the upstanding Heather, nothing short of revenge will suffice.
The witch Selena again survives by using magic and her womanly wiles. This time, has she gone too far? Is she in too deep? The monsters from Cherish are pale in comparison to what she is now seeing.
Radcliffe misses his former life, his hands itch for adventure. He has everything a man could want - a home, wealth, protectors, children, and a lovely governess to spend time with. Something is missing, he knows it, and his current life isn't enough. He's not sure, but what he wants is redemption for all the pain he's caused others. Standing between him and redemption is his old enemy, Faucett Chilcott 'The Razor'.
Our heroes embark on a new adventure, searching for the Librum Diabolus, another magic tome left by the dead wizards that is too powerful for mere mortals. If it falls into the wrong hands, life as they know it will be in danger.
KEEPER OF THE DEER - VENGEANCE - BOOK FOUR
As Heather returns to the Stairwell, Radcliffe continues on Selena's trail to fulfill his promise to Heather. He will take vengeance for her and see to Selena's death if it is the last thing he does before he draws his final breath.

The Golden Wood, a place of peace and healing, can't escape Selena's evil touch. The wood elves mourn the death of many because of her betrayal, and the forest is now inundated with deadly spiders. If Selena pulls off what she intends, the Demon Mother of Spiders will arrive and infect the lands with her poison.

Can Radcliffe gain the trust of the suspicious wood elves? He was never good at making friends, worse at keeping friends cordial. He has no other choice, he must enter the Golden Wood to stop Selena from committing further evil acts.
