Here we go, daily thoughts from your favorite author.

These are my random thoughts.

01-APR-2019

It's been a while since I've visited my blog. We are gearing up for Game of Thrones Season 8 and the fun that will come with it. Last night, we finished Season 7 so we're primed for the new season.

Prediction - Jon Snow will be on the Iron Throne.

16-JAN-2019

The first part of the year has been fraught with viruses, coughing, etc. and re-watching Game of Thrones. Almost done with Season 4 I believe. April will be here, and so will the new (and last) season of GoT.

04-JAN-2019

A good first of the New Year so far... Looking forward to the spring and warmer weather. Taking down the Christmas decorations etc. this weekend and storing them in the attic. Very exciting stuff.

02-JAN-2019

Made it through the first day without the world coming to an end. I did work on several of my resolutions, so I will keep the momentum going.

I'm also working on a messed up story about aliens invading the earth, it is flipping crazy and a bit tongue-in-cheek. Fun to write, fun read I hope. It may end up being a novelette that I can push up to Amazon.

01-JAN-2019

Made it through the Oregon Spirits gin and tonic. The others will have to wait for this year. On this first day of the New Year, here are my thoughts.

The pages of 2019 have yet to be written. Let's make sure we fill those pages with precious memories.

This is the year of G.S.D. - Getting Shit Done. I have 2 or 3 books to finish, a few projects, and some personal goals to fulfill. This will lead to Something Better.

31-DEC-2018

I have decided to end 2018 I'm going to attempt to go around the world by sampling the following flavors today and tonight:

Irish Whiskey/Irish Cream (if that counts) with coffee that I'm having this afternoon

Tequila from Mexico (probably one shot for my Dad)

Hendricks Gin from Scotland (martini, dry, with a good French Vermouth, four olives)

Oregon Spirits Gin from USA (gin and tonic, with a squeeze of lime)

French Champagne

I have a 2009 South Africa Shiraz that may get cracked open, depending on needs and if I'm still vertical.

Happy New Year!

29-DEC-2018

As 2018 comes to a close, we are thankful for those around us who make us better people, who make us want to be as perfect as we can be. If you have someone who inspires you to greatness, make sure they know you appreciate them. It can be with a card, a coffee, or just saying "thanks for being there for me."

25-DEC-2018

Merry Christmas everyone! It is a day to reflect on family and your good fortune. It is good to have all the kids home for the holidays. Cinnamon rolls are in the over proofing and I'll bake them soon. The sausage/egg casserole is baking. Presents are under the tree. Merry Christmas!

21-DEC-2018

Good workout today, cold walking the dogs. Getting ready for the new fridge. I know, very exciting. Have had productive time off this holiday so far, have been working on a couple writing projects when I have time. Remember, writers write.

20-DEC-2018

Missed a few days, busy time of year and other family obligations. Plus, this hasn't become a habit yet, so...

Getting new fridge tomorrow, so that is the excitement for tomorrow. It's a smart fridge, so I wonder if it will tell me who has been eating the butter.

17-DEC-2018

Boys are back from college, which always makes for interesting discussions. It's good to have a house full of kids again.

16-DEC-2018

Busy Sunday getting ready for new fridge that is coming our way and wrapping gifts. It's a busy time of year, don't forget to take a little bit of time for yourself!

14-DEC-2018

Looking forward to my brother visiting today, going to show him around The Star in Frisco where my offices are. He is a HUGE Cowboys fan so he will be in hog heaven. Wishing everyone a great and safe weekend.

13-DEC-2018

Some weather is coming our way, mainly winds. Walking the dogs this morning was rather pleasant 59 degrees, better than being in the 30's and bundling up or it being in the 90's. Getting ready for the boys to come home for the holidays, it will be so good to have the house full of Christmas cheer and kids.

12-DEC-2018

I finally "pushed" the button on my author website. So says my credit card statement - I paid for this, I may as well use it. Happy Holidays!
